The Community Inreach neighborhood sustainability programming strategies utilizes work activities to sustain the neighborhoods and provide job development skills. Since funding for public safety has impacted public service works, creating work practicums engaging residents as community shareholders as a supplement is a method to achieve neighborhood sustainability. Job Development Skills are positions compatible to the skills-sets required for entry-level jobs in the labor, secretarial and the culinary industry. Typically, job training programs and work activities are located outside the perimeter of the community.

The I AM Model for Disadvantaged Communities provides a comprehensive approach to address the multifaceted issues associated with high-risk individuals and disadvantaged communities.
The I AM Model for Disadvantaged Communities is a community empowerment method which performs to decriminalize and revitalize disadvantaged communities by identifying common “risk factors” between individuals and community, assembling community inreach programs within the perimeters of blighted neighborhoods and merging partnerships with key community members.
